100% recycled plastic marker post for utility applications
Marker posts are used by utilities to identify and locate buried services. Traditionally manufactured from precast concrete, the enviroPOST® product is an environmentally friendly alternative.
At 1200mm in length, the enviroPOST® can be cut on-site to smaller lengths if required using a standard hand saw. At 8kgs, the enviroPOST® is significantly lighter than concrete alternatives and provides reduced H&S implications for site personnel.
Precast concrete products are prone to breakages during transportation and storage with some reports of over 40%. enviroPOST® provides a product that is not only inherently strong but is also highly durable and will not crack, break or shatter.
enviroPOST® is manufactured from 100% recycled post consumer plastics including polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE, LDPE & HDPE), which belong to the polyolefins materials group. These plastics were ultimately destined for landfill.
Production takes place in an approved ISO9001 and ISO14001 manufacturing facility
