ABC Link-Up Registered!

ABC are pleased to announce that we are now fully registered as a supplier on Achilles Link-Up (Supplier No: 175339).

Achilles Link-up is the community supporting the UK rail industry’s pre-qualification scheme. It is recognised as best practise in qualifying suppliers, and is used extensively by buyer organisations to manage risk and comply with legislation. Achilles Link-up is governed by a RISQS (Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) Board.

Duct Access Chambers at DP World Project

The EasyPIT® structural duct access chamber system has been used on the DP World/London Gateway project in Essex by contractor VolkerFitzpatrick. The 4050x3000mm D400 loading chambers have been used as LV Cable Drawpits and over 20no will be installed over this prestigious development together with bespoke access covers & frames designed specifically for the ABC EasyPIT® chamber system.

Crossaig Substation - SSE

ABC have recently supplied their EasyPIT® and EasyPIT Connect® duct access chamber systems to the Crossaig Substation project in Scotland. Bam Nutall Ltd/Seimens have installed the drawpit chambers on the new electricity substation being constructed as part of the £148m power line project beneath the sea in Scotland.

Beacon Barracks - M.O.D Stafford

ABC are supplying the EasyPIT® duct access chamber system to the £100 million redevelopment of Beacon Barracks at M.O.D Stafford.

The main barracks redevelopment will help accomodate two new signal regiments returning from Germany. The site will see approximately 500no EasyPIT® chambers installed during the course of the project with the majority being used as cable drawpits.

Severn Trent Water continue to use EasyRISER®

The EasyRISER® modular manhole ladder system continues to be used by Severn Trent Water and their framework contractors as a direct alternative to galvanised and stainless steel ladders.

A recent project undertaken by NMC Nomenca in Fosse Park, Leicester again highlighted just how effective the EasyRISER® system is in reducing costs not only per unit but also lead and installation times together with whole of life costs.
